Bangkok Trip 21/04/07~ 3rd day

Supposed to meet at the girls' room at 10am bangkok time but the girls overslept. Went over their room and they are just awake. Had Dunkin Donuts and sushi for breakfast. Xing Fu~
Packed up and they check out their rooms and move their things over to our rooms. Stanrick and my room only need to check out at 6pm.
Then, we went back to MBK again coz there are still things to get.. We havent buy Sel's things and Steph have not buy Kelvin's things.. also, there are foodstuffs to get.

Reached there at abt 11.30am. We split up to shop coz there's no more time to wait for each other. Steph and i bought a pair of shoe and a bag for Sel. Last min, i got myself a pair of podka dot shoes too. Went up to 3rd level for bags and got a black bag for my mum and a white one for myself. Shall take photos of them soon. Stanrick bought himself some hair gel again and we went to their body care shop and bought some body and hair cares there. Went up to 6th leveel, wanted to get a padlock. Smelled something weird.. then saw smoke coming out from opposite. Quickly buy the padlock. Then suddenly, a guy came to tell the shop owner something and she ran towards the foodcourt direction where the smoke is coming out from. Suddely, lots of people walking very fast and running.. trying to get out. Stanrick and i quickly went down the escalator. People are pushing and pushing.. But when we reach 3rd level, everything seemed normal. Just a lot of pple going down escalator. Think they still dont know something happened. I called Steph, and she still wanna shop till 2pm, which is 1 more hr to go. Stanrick and i went down to 1st level to ask the information counter. She said its just a small fire and its being put out. We slack for a while a 1st level, but realised the smoke is getting thicker and more pple are heading out of MBK. SOme shops, including KFC has closed their shop. Called Steph and they finally realised the suitation. Told them to meet outside.



Fire engines came.. a total of 7 of them.. Small fire? I dont think so. Steph came out and is still grumbling abt her dunkin donuts. We still havent buy them. But she was already carrying lots of things! 11-12 bags and 4 shirts for kelvin, and a big bag with those skin cares. Joey's not bad herself. But not as 'kua zhang' as steph.

Wanted to take cab back to hotel and put our things but no cabs is available. Finally we decided to squeeze into a 'toot-toot' after waiting under the hot sun for 15 mins.
Exciting riding a 'toot-toot' and thought its very squeezy, stanrick and steph sitting on opposite sides and might fall off anytime, we still managed to take a photo. Yeah~
Went back hotel and Steph beginning showing us what she bought. Bought a necklace and a ring for 1800 bucks. Rested a while and we went downstairs for a massage and lunch. The time is abt 2pm. We still have 3 hrs before we have to check out and head to airport. Reached the lobby and suddenly, steph says her necklace and ring is missing. Search her bag and she even went upstairs to search luggage etc, all dont hvae. She came down looking sad. We decided to proceed on with our massage and lunch first before heading back to help her find.
Went for traditional thai massage with joey and stanrick while steph chose to go for oil massage. My first time doing the traditional thai massage. A great experience. Haha!!
Outside the massage place, waiting for steph. We finished slightly earlier. Its already 4pm. We only have 1 more hour left.

And finally, our waffles. Each of us had one each. Except im sharing with stanrick coz i ate lots of those skinny chicken wings.

Rushed back to hotel and its already 4.45pm. Search our bags and whole room for steph's ring and necklace and still couldnt find. Steph check out with a heavy heart. Took a cab to airport, reached at close to 6pm and she's still feeling very moody and very quiet.

Our flight is at 8pm bangkok time, reached back singapore at 11+pm. Steph's bf, kelvin came to fetch us and treated us prata. Headed back to steph's house to take stanrick's car and they began talks of how they heard noises. I heard it took, thought not very sure. But we didnt tell each other. We only discussed on that day, which made it more errie. Will write abt that next time. Sent joey home and reached home at abt 2am. Steph called and said she found her necklace and ring, which is so weird, hidden under the shirts she bought for kelvin.
Concussed till next morning. Super tired but a fun trip! Too bad Suan Lum night bazaar is closing in end of April.
